My audio guys resist every time I ask to put a live room mic in the mix. They hate the idea. When I try to tell them it’s a common practice they scoff at me as they music director.
    Thanks.

Hey Jamie, They may feel better about it if you tell them to only put the “room” mic into the video mix, and not for anything else. They be assuming you mean to mic the room and it’ll impact the house. However, it is a common (and even preferred) practice to include a little bit of ambient room noise into the stream. Even the capture of the acoustical reverb will make the stream sound more “real” if it’s mixed in right.

HI. Our Livestream audio is just ‘ok’. It just doesn’t have that quality sound like most churches present. When we are in the livestream room, the mix with all instruments and vocals sounds very good. But when listening through a TV or smartphone, the mix does not sound good. We are using the X32 rack mount mixer for livestream mix. Any suggestions?
