Canon CR-N700 PTZ 4-Camera Streaming Kit (ATEM)

Canon’s dual-pixel autofocus engine is also the envy of the industry, pushing Sony to be the champion of all autofocus engines. And now Canon has pushed all of its power into the PTZ line of cameras which are perfect for churches and event venues that want a more premium, broadcast-quality video system.

This kit includes everything you need to start streaming with remote-controlled 4K PTZ cameras with 15X optical zoom at up to 30 frames per second in 4K, 60fps in 1080.

PTZ cameras allow a single volunteer to control the cameras remotely from a single location via a Joystick controller, a web-based control panel, or even a mobile device.

Note: The ATEM Mini Pro is a 1080P device, so the 4K camera signal will get downsampled to 1080P. However, the increased image quality is unmatched with Canon’s 1.0-inch Type CMOS sensor and 10-bit 4:2:2 image quality.

Multiple protocols for seamless integration
The CR-N700 features SRT and NDI|HX1 that produce high-quality video streams for broadcasters. RTMP/RTMPS, RTP/RTSP are included, along with Canon XC and Standard communication protocols, plus FreeD for integration into virtual productions.

Powerful HDR imagery and low-light capture
Achieve stunning HDR imagery with direct recording into either PQ or HLG formats. A range of custom picture settings includes Canon Log 3 and Wide Dynamic Range to match your image with other Canon cameras.

Crop function – single camera, two video feeds
Select and extract a point of interest via a separate feed. The chosen area can then be output as a main or secondary signal and up to two cropped areas can be set in FHD.

Low-Light Mode
Capture footage in near-darkness thanks to IR Mode, which extends the spectrum visible to the camera.

Comprehensive connectivity
Connect flexibly with 12G-SDI, HDMI or IP (PoE++) all supporting 4K60P, as well as professional dual XLR audio inputs. CR-N700 also includes 3G-SDI and GEN-LOCK.

Smooth and precise control
The CR-N700 has a high-precision drive mechanism for fine Pan and Tilt movement as slow as 0.1°/s. Compatible with the RC-IP100 controller and Remote Camera Control Application controllers, it can also be configured with selected third-party units.

The ATEM Mini Pro Video Switcher

ATEM Mini Pro is fast to set up and easy to use. It includes 4 standards converted HDMI inputs, USB webcam out, HDMI out, Fairlight audio mixer with EQ and dynamics, DVE for picture-in-picture, transition effects, green screen chroma key, 20 stills media pool for titles and free ATEM Software Control. ATEM Mini Pro also includes direct recording to USB flash disks in H.264 and direct streaming via Ethernet to YouTube Live and more. There’s also a multiview with 4 cameras, media, preview and program plus the status of recording, streaming, and audio.

Canon’s PTZ Controller

Canon’s RC-IP100 controller provides control for up to 100** supported cameras*. Additionally, through the serial port, the RC-IP100 can control one compatible Canon camera via the NU protocol. The controller is equipped with a large 7” diagonal touch screen, zoom lever and joystick in order to pan, tilt, zoom and change camera picture settings with precise precision. The smooth responsiveness of the joystick allows operators to capture on-air movements with confidence. Pair this controller with a supported Canon PTZ camera to create the ideal camera/controller combination into your video production.
