QuickBooks integration terms
Effective date: June 30, 2026
These terms apply to the ChurchSetup QuickBooks Online integration. The integration is used by ChurchSetup to support customer billing, estimates, invoices, payments, and related accounting workflows.
Authorized use
The integration may only be used by ChurchSetup team members or approved systems for ChurchSetup business operations. It is not offered as a public software product for outside users.
QuickBooks connection
The integration connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit OAuth. A QuickBooks Online administrator must authorize access before the integration can use QuickBooks data. ChurchSetup may disconnect the integration at any time through QuickBooks Online, the Intuit app connection settings, or our internal systems.
Permitted actions
The integration may be used to look up customers, create or update customer records, prepare estimates or invoices, send invoices when authorized, check payment status, and read related accounting records needed for ChurchSetup operations.
Financial actions
Customer-facing financial actions, including sending invoices or changing billing records, should be performed only by authorized ChurchSetup team members or systems acting under ChurchSetup approval.
Data accuracy
QuickBooks records should be reviewed before they are used for customer communication, accounting, tax, or reporting decisions. If a record looks incorrect, ChurchSetup should verify the source information before sending or relying on it.
Third-party services
QuickBooks Online is provided by Intuit. Use of QuickBooks Online remains subject to Intuit’s terms, policies, and platform rules. ChurchSetup is responsible for how we use the integration inside our own business operations.
Availability
The integration may be unavailable during maintenance, credential expiration, Intuit service interruptions, permission changes, or system errors. ChurchSetup may modify or disable the integration when needed.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, ChurchSetup is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to the use of this internal integration. This does not limit rights that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our QuickBooks integration, business operations, or legal requirements change. The effective date above shows when this page was last updated.
