You found a camera you like, added a switcher to the cart, and the total looked manageable. Then Sunday came, and you discovered the camera needed a network cable run you did not own, the audio from the board would not reach the switcher, and the laptop you planned to use kept dropping the stream halfway through the sermon. Audio: the cost people skip and regret first
If there is one place where churches under-budget and feel it immediately, it is audio. Viewers will forgive a soft or slightly noisy image far longer than they will tolerate muddy, echoey, or distorted sound. Download speed is what gets advertised, and it is usually generous.
